Take Part in the Tournament in Management and Engineering Skills (TIMES) and win a Trip to the Semi Finals in Cambridge and maybe become the IEM Student of the Year

RULES: A team must consist of 3- 4 participants. Participants must be Industrial Engineering and Management students in an ESTIEM university during the whole tournament. Exchange students of the Industrial Engineering and Management department of an ESTIEM university are allowed to participate. A maximum of half of the team members can be exchange students. Two core members must remain in the team from Local Qualification until Final. The Semi-Finals and the Final have to be in English. The Local Qualification must be held in English, unless the organisers can not obtain a case in English or the jury prefers to use the local language. All Equipment used during the Harvard cases should be provided by the organisers of the qualification. Participants are not allowed to use their own material except for function calculators and dictionaries. In the context of Harvard cases, the preparation and presentation must be during the same day. The teams have between 3 and 4 hours for preparing a Harvard case, 15-20 minutes for the presentation, and 10 minutes for questions of the jury. There must be a buffer of 5-10 minutes between the end of the preparation time, at which point all material must be collected from the team, and the start of the presentation. The questions from the jury must follow immediately after the presentation. All the available times must be the same for all teams. The team must present an oral solution to the case. In the context of Harvard cases the teams are allowed to use handwritten visual support material during the presentation. Other mediums of presentation need to be approved by the Project Leader. The jury must have at least two members. Students without a master's degree are not allowed in the jury. The jury must use the evaluation forms provided by the organisers. When there are multiple cases, the overall winner is determined according to the following procedure: The points from individual cases are scaled so that the team with the most points gets 10 points. The other teams should get a relative score compared to the winning team of the day. The scaled points from individual cases are summed, and the overall winner is the team with most scaled points.
